Schmidty’s Contracting Ltd. is a full range general contracting firm incorporated in 2002 in Stratford, Ontario. Since that time SCL Schmidty’s Contracting Ltd. has seen steady growth and expansion.

The company has recently been moved to Sebringville, Ontario where SCL has consolidated its administrative and operational functions. This new property is the perfect launching pad to serve Stratford and the surrounding counties.

Todd Schmidt – President

Our President and founder is Todd Schmidt. Todd has been involved in construction since 1994 working in virtually all facets of the industry particularly the residential and commercial markets. The company under Todd’s leadership has built a custom home and has completed many commercial and residential additions and renovations in Southwestern Ontario. As the hands-on site supervisor Todd will ensure that your demands for top quality, professional workmanship at met or exceeded.

Brian Schmidt – Vice President

Involved in the construction industry since 1969 Brian brings a wealth of experience in the industrial, commercial, residential, institutional and agricultural construction processes. Many may remember him as the owner of his own construction company Brian A Schmidt Contracting Services Limited (BAS Contracting) located in Stratford. Since that time he has been involved with all phases of construction projects from inception and design through to construction finishes and commissioning, both domestically and internationally.

Major projects that Brian has been engaged in include the FAG Aerospace building and the Magest Inc. building in Stratford, the original Columbia Ice Field rink at the University of Waterloo, Projects in Algeria as well as work in many local industrial plants, commercial businesses and hospital renovations.
